Now I can talk about what I have been working on! I am so incredibly proud to announce that I am the Associate Producer of IX in Black Ops 4 Zombies.
Earlier this week we had the community reveal event for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, and there Jason Blundell also showed off some trailers for the new Zombies maps, including the map who’s team I am producing.
I absolutely adore this team. I would credit them all here but I would want to get their permission first. There’s about 20 people (give or take) working on this map, and we have all grown into a huge family. A lot of the meetings are filled with jokes and a healthy dose of cheek, but what I love most of all is that the whole team collaborates together – design ideas comes from everywhere, and our leads are open to feedback and hearing what people have to say at the end of every playtest. A lot of that comes from the openness of the point scripter on the team, who actively solicits ideas, and gets everyone involved every meeting. I’ve met a lot of designers who prefer to own it all themselves, so this is a welcome rarity, and I think it shows on this map. It definitely feels like a map that takes into account all player styles and tastes within the FPS genre, and I really think you will all enjoy it.
